Our goal is to deliver an exceptional, reliable and personalised service for you and your equine companions. We utilise innovative technology to access your clinical records both in the field and stable side, whilst providing routine, advanced and emergency care. After each visit and consultation, we provide personalised invoices and notes, summarising our discussions. Additionally, we offer complimentary text reminders for dentistry, vaccinations, worming/egg counts, repeat blood tests and prescriptions.
Vaccination visits provide a valuable opportunity to discuss your horse’s overall health and address any concerns you may have. Each visit includes a complimentary general health and dental check.
We have a real passion for all aspects of equine dentistry. Our expertise and experience enables us to diagnose and treat a wide range of both routine and advanced dental conditions.
Imaging
We have invested in modern, advanced, portable equipment. Our digital X-ray machine delivers instant images for immediate interpretation. With both mains and battery-powered options, our ultrasound scanner, gastroscope, and endoscope allow us to work up cases, even in settings with limited facilities.
We recommend a five stage pre–purchase examination for any potential horse purchase. A blood sample is always taken and kept in storage for 6 months. Following a very thorough examination at rest and during exercise, we will provide you with our professional opinion on the suitability of the horse for the purpose of your chosen activities and disciplines.
Our dental package includes sedation, a detailed oral examination of the entire mouth, so that each individual tooth and the surrounding soft tissues can be thoroughly examined, followed by routine maintenance rasping, using the most up-to-date motorised dental equipment.
If further advanced treatment is required, this will be discussed with you and is subject to an additional charge.
All client registrations will receive a practice branded premium hi viz jacket, keyring, hoof pick and minty horse treats, as well as valuable equine veterinary information.
